With a belief that One Woman can make a Difference But Women Together can Change the World, Lions Club of Hyderabad Jubilee Hills, a club which was started on 17th May 1994 with 36 Members was sponsored by LCH Deccan and within no time has become a 100% Women Club.
Lions Club of Hyderabad Jubilee Hills has been continually doing Outstanding services for catering to various needs like Hunger, Education, Health, improvement of Women Empowerment etc.,.
Whenever there is a Specific requirement, LCH Jubilee Hills has been raising to the occasion. One such occasion, which is shaking the world today, is the Pandemic attack of COVID-19.
It just took few days for the Lions of LCH Jubilee Hills to get a grip on the situation and started their support to the needy people in general and also to the unfortunate people whom the Virus directly attacked.
With ’Fight against COVID as our Signature activity, immunity building medicines, masks, sanitizes gloves were distributed at school, labor colonies, orphanages etc., for ---
From June 2021 till date, we have served food regularly to the migrated and local daily labor that lost their earnings, ---- servings for ---- people and given monthly provisions for more than 30 families.
Masks, Gloves, PPE kits, sanitizers were donated to various hospitals were COVID treatment is on.
COVID awareness stickers were struck at many public places.
Laptops, Desktops, Smart Phones were distributed for needy students and the wifi charges were also reimbursed for needy.
Direct monetary relief @ Rs. 25,000/- to each family was given to 5 families, in our adopted village.
Against a call from multiple, We have sponsored for 6 oxygen concentrators to be given to the needy poor people.
